CASE RELAY CRUPS110 Camera USB external power system. I used with Canon EOS M5.

MILC consumes more battery than DSLR.
When shooting with MILC, the EVF or the rear display is always used, so the battery consumption is inevitably fast.

The main countermeasure is to prepare and operate multiple batteries, but genuine batteries are a little expensive, and third-party batteries are uncertain about their quality.

I wish I could supply power from a large-capacity mobile battery, but I found a wonderful product that would make that wish come true.

I bought CASE RELAY CRUPS110 USB external power system

CASE RELAY CRUPS110

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 USB external power supply.
It's a very nice accessory that powers the camera from a mobile battery or USB adapter.

If there is a electrical outlet in the indoor, it can be powered from a indoor power source using the USB adapter.
If there is no electrical outlet in the outdoors, it can be powered from a mobile battery.

This item is compatible with most DSLRs and MILCs from major manufacturers.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 can be used as an uninterruptible power supply for cameras

CASE RELAY CRUPS110

CASE RELAY CRUPS 110 main unit also has a built-in 1200mAh battery.
The camera can be driven by CRUPS110 alone.

What this means is that after the mobile battery is consumed, the power supply source will switch to the CRUPS110 built-in battery.
Before consume CRUPS110 built-in battery, if able to re connect the mobile battery of a new fully charged, can be used as an uninterruptible apparatus even outdoors.

This is a wonderful function that allows to avoid interruptions in shooting due to insufficient battery capacity during time-lapse shooting or movie shooting.

I tried using CASE RELAY CRUPS110 with Canon EOS M5

So, let's use it with the Canon EOS M5.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 DC coupler DR-E17 is required for use with Canon EOS M5.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110
CASE RELAY CRUPS110 Insert the DC coupler like a normal battery and open the terminal cover.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 Use a conversion cable, connect the male terminal of this to a DC coupler.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 Connect the female terminal of the conversion cable to CRUPS110, and connect CRUPS110 to the mobile battery.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 Power on.
The battery level is not displayed, but this is a camera specification.

CASE RELAY CRUPS110 There is no problem because there is a way to check the remaining battery level for both CRUPS110 and mobile battery.

By the way, if the output of the mobile battery is low, the built-in battery of CRUPS110 will be used up first, so check each specification.
The mobile battery seems to be okay if it has an output of 2.1A or more.

By the way, the mobile battery capacity used in this article is 20100mAh.
The capacity of the genuine battery LP-E17 is 1040mAh.
If I calculate it, it's equivalent to 19 normal batteries.
It's more than enough capacity.

The problem of insufficient battery capacity has been resolved, and there is also a function called an uninterruptible power supply.
Nothing is limited to time-lapse shooting and movie shooting.
There is a CRUPS110 as a spare when taking pictures normally.
This benefit is far greater. :D
