Canon EOS M3 MILC is the first camera I encountered.

September 2015.
It all started with the encounter with the Canon EOS M3 MILC.

When considering the purchase, I narrowed down the candidates to MILC, and finally I was worried about the Canon EOS M3 and SONY α6000.
Result of examination, I bought the Canon EOS M3.

At the time of purchase, I think there was some trust in the brands "Canon" and "EOS" for me.

Body appearance.
As for the lens, I remember purchasing the kit lens EF-M18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM at Yahoo!Auctions.

Looking back at that time, I chose white color because it was cute lol.
At that time, I didn't know why many many SLR cameras are black color.

An external electronic viewfinder attached to the hot shoe.
This chonmage-like EVF is quite usable.

By changing the angle, I can use it like a waist level finder, which is familiar to Hasselblad and Rolleiflex.
It is very useful when it is difficult to check the LCD monitor in sunny weather.
The disadvantage is that the chonmage-like EVF is bulky when put in the bag.
Also, I remember that the price was high ... lol

The lens, hot shoe, EVF, monitor, and tripod hole are all on the optical axis.
I feel Canon's pursue without compromise here.

Looking back on it now, it was a great help to study the basics of cameras.
I remember being criticized by professionals and high amateurs at the time of its release, but lol.

I'm deeply emotive that the current model (at the time of posting this article) EOS M6 Mark II has made great progress.
