Canon EF-M22mm F2 STM. Focal length of 35mm became my standard after using it.

In May 2016, I bought Canon EF-M22mm F2 STM.

I also attached this lens to the Canon EOS M3 and took a lot of pictures.

In this post, I'll list some photos taken with the above combinations.

Coffee shop chain Komeda headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi.
I took a picture of Shiro-Noir, which is Komeda's signboard menu.
The focal length of the lens is little short, so table photography is very easy.
By the way, when I first saw the Shiro-Noir carried by the waitress, I was surprised at the size ... lol

All three shots were taken with the aperture open F2.
However, the background is not very bokeh.

If want to bokeh the background, It is necessary to devise the distance to the subject, the distance to the background, the composition, etc.
However, bokeh is not everything about the quality of photo ;)

I took a picture of Nagoya Castle one day in winter.
It was so cold that my hands were about to freeze, but I was lucky that both the camera and lens were lightweight.
Looking at EXIF, it seems that I was using a strobe with a built-in camera.
It seems that I wanted to capture the falling snow, but not much snow ... :}

Well, the picture above is just an example.
Focal length of 35mm was easy to use because it wasn't too close or too far away.
When I look through the viewfinder, it feels a little wider than what I actually see.
I realized that this was a very comfortable distance for me.

I think these experiences are great for me.

After using Canon EF-M22mm F2 STM, focal length of 35mm became my standard :D
